WE'RE
BAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
I think everyone is in agreement that this trip brought us closer together as
an "Internet Family", we had an absolutely wonderful time in Gatlinburg, TN.
The truth is out.....those pics on the web....wellllllll LOL......they seem
to be a little outdated. We all agreed Charlie is the only one that you
could identify in real life from IRC life.
I would like to say a great big THANK YOU to `Charlie for the beautiful roses
and to Snicks, Daffy1, Coolme, Mr & Mrs Merlin, and Kat for the Beanie Babies (how I love
those Beanie Babies...hehehe) and to Coolme and Daffy1 for the "spirits" :)

DAY ONE ... Snicks and I (Jenna) arrived Thursday afternoon (didn't want anyone to see us after
sitting in the car for 10 hours so we got there early...lol) So we checked in and
went to town to get a head start on some shopping. Daffy1 arrived later Thursday
evening and Snicks and I caught up with her around 11:00 p.m. Stayed up till 2 a.m. or so chatting
in real time.
DAY TWO ... Charlie, Charlie Jr. and Coolme arrived during the wee hours of the morning.
Snicks, Charlie, Charlie Jr. and I went horseback riding in the Smokey Mountains and we
even did some rock climbing. Unfortunately, my camera was stolen so I don't have
any pictures of this :( Snicks got her pictures developed, we have some new ones included now. Charlie
had bad luck with his camera too, didn't find out the batteries weren't any
good until he was ready to take a picture :( Not to worry....we have hundreds of pics anyway...lol NO,
I'm not going to make you wait for all of them to download...roflmbo. Everyone else
arrived later on in the day...we all met and waited for Mr & Mrs Merly to arrive, then went to dinner.
DAY THREE ...We took a ride up the mountain
in the aerial tram to Ober Gatlinburg. The ride up was great...ask Coolme...she loved it! hehehe
There we all went Go-Karting, Charlie and I were the only one's brave enough to
venture on the Alpine slide which required a "scenic chairlift ride" higher up the mountain
so we could go down a "fun filled weaving, wandering, dipping descent" on 1800 feet of track
through woods and ski trails. And what a ride it was...no pics, they are in the stolen camera :( (Snicks had a couple,
included those too)
We stayed on the mountain for a few hours and then journeyed on down and walked and walked and walked
through Gatlinburg. Visited the Christmas Village after dinner and then walked and walked and walked some
more, went back to the hotel and enjoyed a quiet late evening on the River Walk..lol...I think everyone was
tired.....
DAY FOUR ... Our last day together :( Coolme had to be at the
airport early afternoon, so we thought we would have brunch at the AppleBarn. Little did we know that a 20 minute
trip was going to take us about 1 1/2 hours thanks to all the dern tourists and traffic.
But we made it...only to allow enough time for some pics and then Daffy and Cool were off to the airport...
DAY FIVE ... Charlie and his son and me and Snicks are left, only
to depart and say our good-byes :( OK.....when are we meeting again?????? And the next time I hope that more of
you are able to attend :)
