You can use your KanScan® scanner cards designed for your Scan 'n Sew®
(Janome®/New Home® 8000) with the Scan 'n Sew II® (Janome® 9000).

    1.    Place a white sheet of paper on the scanning surface.
    2.    Cover the bottom half of the KanScan® card with another sheet of white paper.
    3.    Lay the "L" shaped scanner frame supplied with your Scan 'n Sew II over the card
           so the short side is vertical and the inside vertical edge is next to the left vertical
           edge of the KanScan® card.  Align the top of the KanScan® card with the top "L"
           on the scanner frame.

    4.    Scan the card (LEFT to RIGHT).  Stop scanning immediately after the graphic image
           is on the screen and before any information on the right edge of the card is scanned.
           If the register dot is not picked up, move the card a fraction right or left.
