Materials:

• KanScan scanner design cards Quilt Blocks Group 1 & 2 - Designs available for Baby Lock®, Brother®, Bernina®, Janome®/New Home® and Singer®
• Felt - 20 squares just large enough for embroidery hoop
• 3/8" satin ribbon - 2 yards
• Rayon machine embroidery thread in 6 - 10 coordinating colors
• Stabilizer
• Foam core board (9-1/2" x 11")
• White glue

Scan and embroider* 20 quilt blocks.  If you only have 18 designs (included in 1 KanScan package) repeat an appropriate corner block 4 times (such as Granny's Fan).

Cut out each block leaving a 1/8" felt border around each block.

Draw straight lines 1/2" from the top edge and 1/2" from the left edge of the (9-1/2" x 11") foam core board.

Glue 20 trimmed quilt blocks on the board, 4 across and 5 down, using the lines for a reference.  Butt felt edges together.

Measure vertical and horizontal sash areas and cut 3 vertical and 4 horizontal ribbons to fit.

Glue horizontal ribbon sashing in place.  Repeat for vertical ribbon sashing.

Mat and frame in 16" x 20" frame.
