Topics addressed include:
  • Gathering measurements
  • Measuring devices
  • Photogrammetry
  • 2D crime/crash scene diagrams
  • 3D crime/crash scene diagrams
  • Solid Modeling in 3D
  • Blood stain pattern analysis in 3D
  • Bullet trajectory in 3D
  • Vehicle movement path in 3D
  • Dynamically rotate rendered models
  • Constructing solid primitives such as block, cone, cylinder, sphere, and torus.
  • Perform boolean operations.
  • Extrude, sweep or revolve geometry into a solid.
  • Apply constant and variable fillets, chamfers and blends to solid models.
  • Importing and exporting DXF
  • Introduction to rendering images
  • Exporting 3D scenes in VRML for posting on the internet.

This class includes a registered copy of the software ($2195.00 value) for each student.
Cost per student averages between $600-$700, based on a class size of 15.
