Part of our education in Norwegian culture was to have the foreign
students in the class go on a winter campout, complete with snow. As
it turned out, the night that we chose to go camping was the coldest
night of the season thus far. Even with many bodies crammed into one
tent and a portable stove working overtime, it was still bitterly
cold. But one thing I definitely like about winter camping - no bugs!
It's almost worth it.
