This website contains a few samplings of my illustration work. My body of work ranges from age appropriate gradeschool texts to college and professional technical publications, product illustration for catalogs, package art and print ads, spot pieces for editorial, architectural illustrations for developers, corporate image, and private clients and much more. I work in a wide variety of styles and mediums, from simple line to detailed Pen&Ink to watercolors and oils to pixels and in any combination a project requires.

My approach to projects is based on a combination of professionalism and creativity. From a professional standpoint I am very conscious of your budget and schedule and have never missed a deadline. Artistically I know that an image has to convey the message you need get across. I strive to make sure that message comes through loud and clear (or quiet and subtle if need be).

Kate McKeon was born and raised in New York. She graduated from Alfred University, School of Art and Design in Alfred, New York, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. Currently, Kate teaches and works in her studio located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Her extensive training and talent affords her the pleasure of working as a full time artist creating drawing and paintings in watercolor and pen & ink.
