The McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to provide support to the growth and development of the business community and to continually improve the quality of life for those who live and work in the McHenry area.

Our staff, along with our Board of Directors, coordinates the efforts of hundreds of businesses, and over seven-teen standing committees, to provide benefits and services necessary to growing businesses.

The first meeting as the McHenry Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors was held on May 1, 1952. Thus, as of today the McHenry Area Chamber boasts over 600 members continually strives to reach out to it's outlying communities.

1999 dues in the McHenry Chamber of Commerce are on a graduated scale based on the number of employees, the minimum starting at $210.00 and a special rate of $85.00 for non-profit service organizations.
