Battle Creek's Amtrak station is just south of downtown, on the Grand Trunk main line. It replaces two old stations; the Michigan Central Depot, just north of downtown, and the Grand Trunk depot, which is about a mile to the east. The station was built to serve trains from the south end and busses from the north end.
