After some long thoughts and many ideas we chose to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary in London, England. The following is just a sample of what we saw.
This is Westminster Abbey.
WESTMINSTER ABBEY...How old is it? As with many other ancient institutions, there is no simple answer to this question. At least one medieval legend places the foundation of the Abbey in the seventh century, and the'Isle of Thornes' or 'Thorney'- the old name for Westminster-was not an unlikely place for a great Anglo-Saxon church to be built. However, it is certain that around AD 960, the Bishop of London, St. Dunstan, established a group of 12 monks at Westminster, so we can be sure that divine service has been celebrated on the present site for over a thousand years.

This is Stonehenge.
STONEHENGE...Is the most important prehistoric monument in the whole of Britain It is unique, and there is nothing else like it anywhere in the world. From the earliest times it has aroused the awe of visitors as one of the wonders of Britain. The monument as we see today, is the much ruined final phase of Stonehenge, the prehistoric temple in use some 3600 years ago.

This is Queen Victoria with part of Windsor Castle in the background.
Windsor Castle...Was founded by William the Conqueror c. 1080 as one of a chain of fortifications round London. It occupies the only naturally defensive site in this part of the Thames Valley, 30 metres (100 feet) above the river. It is one of the official residences of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
