MEETING MICHAEL PALIN I met Michael with my friend Adam at his when he was promoting his book "Hemingway's Chair" back in May 1998. He was at Barbara's Bookstore in the Sears Tower in Chicago. We got there two hours early and there was still a line! By the time Michael showed up, the line was about ten times longer, stretching around a couple of corners. Our meeting with Michael was brief, simply because he had hundreds of others waiting in line, it was worth meeting one of my idols in any case.

 

MEETING TERRY JONES In all reality, I never really met Terry Jones, but I did get to see him and his film, "Wind in the Willows," which I strongly recommend seeing if you ever get the rare chance that it's showing at a a theater near you. However, my friend Jason, who joined me that day, was one of the lucky ones to get his autograph after the Q&A session. Then he, being the fantastic guy he is, gave me the autograph! So that was another great day! All that's left are John (my biggest feat), Terry G, and Eric. Graham will have to wait until it's my time to leave...
