| I have been making jewelry for most of my life. First as a "rockhound", my lifelong obsession, (ever since I was old enough to have pants with pockets in them) and then later, after learning how to use silver and gold , as a jewelry fanatic. During the last 25 years I have mellowed into a professional jeweler, doing basically one-of-a-kind pieces. I discovered that it is too difficult and time consuming to try to please everyone so now I only do pieces that please me. I strive to have every piece I make a "wearable" piece of art. The nicest compliment you can give me is to tell me that the jewelry I made is "comfortable" to wear. |

| I no longer do castings, too "production oriented" to suit me. I construct almost everything from sheet and wire. I still hand cut most of the cabachons that I use. I don't do faceting but I have several friends who are facetors, so some of the faceted stones I use are hand cut. |
