Roy A. Hagemo, a member of Fjordland Lodge died April 3, 2004 in
Elgin. He was born Jan. 31, 1927 and married Margaret Christiansen on
Aug. 18, 1951 in Brooklyn. He and his wife lived on Long Island and
in Deer Park, N.Y. for 35 years before moving to Sun City in Huntley
in 1999 and joining the Fjordland Lodge.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the
Huntley American Legion.
He loved music, playing the piano and singing and was a member of two
singing societies. He was a 35-year member of Sons of Norway. He
enjoyed building model cars, vintage autos and motorcycles.
